About the role
Fit and weld structural and fabricated assemblies from engineering drawings. Lay out, tack, and weld components using MIG, flux core, or TIG processes on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a fitter/welder
- Proficiency in MIG, flux core, or TIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication and fitting techniques
- Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in structural or heavy fabrication
- AWS certification
- Overhead crane and forklift experience
