About the role
Join our finishing department to prepare fabricated parts for downstream finishing processes. Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prep parts from a variety of materials, select appropriate abrasive media, mask designated areas, and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year sandblasting or industrial finishing experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Comfort wearing supplied-air or blast hood respirator for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and team-oriented attitude
Preferred qualifications
- Aerospace or defense component experience
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality systems
- Powder coat or paint prep process familiarity
- Forklift certification
